ABSTRACT
Medium volume raingun model with 8, 10, 12 and 14 mm diameter nozzle size was used in this study. The system with different nozzles was operated at 2, 3, 4 and 5 kg/cm2 pressure. The uniformity coefficient was estimated in the range of 48.34 % and 74.96 %. The minimum Uniformity coefficient of 48.94 % was found at 2 kg/cm2 for 8 mm nozzle size. Whereas, maximum Uniformity coefficient of 74.96 % was found at 4 kg/cm2 for 12 mm nozzle. An application rate in the range of 6.48 mm/hr and 11.01 mm/hr was found for the medium volume rain gun with 8, 10, and 12 mm diameter nozzle at 2, 3, 4 and 5 kg/cm2 pressure respectively.
