ABSTRACT
A field experiment was conducted during 2019-2020 at the experimental field of Agriculture Farm, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur. The experiment was laid out in Randomized block design having six treatments on alluvial soil during 2019-2020 using different PSAP combinations of treatments, to test the efficiency in improving yield, quality and benefit cost ratio for farmers and sugar of for the sugarcane crop with variety Co 0238. From the results; it was observed that the treatment T2- (100 % R.D.F. (180:80:80) + 12.5 kg PSAP /ha-4 Foliar spray - 60, 75, 90 & 120 D.A.P.) showed maximum economic yield and cane quality and improved growth, juice purity and higher net return (1,16,172 Rs/-) with improved benefit cost ratio(1:2.24). It was concluded that Higher numbers of foliar spray of 12.5kg/ha PSAP gave higher Gross income and benefit cost ratio along with help in sustaining soil health due to better response of foliar spray of PSAP on cane productivity.
