A study was carried out to see the response of potassium on growth, flowering and seed attributes of French marigold (Tagetes patula) cv. Pusa Arpita under Malwa Region of Madhya Pradesh” during 2015 - 2016 at the Department of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, K.N.K. College of Horticulture, Mandsaur, RVS Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Gwalior (M.P.). The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with seven treatments of potassium T1 (K2O @ 0 kg/ha), T2 (K2O @ 30 kg/ha), T3 (K2O @ 40 kg/ha), T4 (K2O @ 50 kg/ha), T5 (K2O @ 60 kg/ha), T6 (K2O @ 70 kg/ha) and T7 (K2O @ 80 kg/ha) replicated three times. Among the different graded levels of potassium, application of K2O @ 80 kg/ha (T7) was observed to be the best with respect of most of the parameters examine under this investigation i.e. plant height (30, 45 and 60 days after transplanting), number of secondary branches per plant (30, 45 and 60 days after transplanting), plant spread (30, 45 and 60 days after transplanting), number of flowers per plants, flowers diameter, individual flower weight, flower yield per plant and flower yield per plot, flowering duration, number of seeds per flower maximum weight of seed per flower and 100 seed weight
