ABSTRACT
Result of a field experiment conducted at College Farm, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari during rabi season of 2004-05 revealed that irrigating the crop at 0.9 IW/CPE ratio (I3) resulted in significantly the highest seed (1429 kgha-1) and straw (3921 kgha-1) yields. An application of 100% recommended dose (20-40-0 NPK kgha-1) of NPK F1 recorded significantly the highest seed (1402 kgha-1) and straw (3809 kgha-1) yields. FYM @ 10 t ha-1 (M1) produced significantly its superiority in seed (1329 kgha-1) and straw (3629 kgha-1) yields. Treatment combination F1M1 (100%recommended dose of NPK coupled with FYM @ 10 t ha-1) yielded (1416 kgha-1) significantly highest seed yield.
