ABSTRACT
An experiment was conducted during the rabi season of the years 2012-13 and 2013-14 at Tribal Research-cum-Training Centre Farm, A. A. U., Devgadh Baria, Gujarat to evaluate green cob yield of sweet corn under different time of application T1: Basal, knee high, tassel (soil application), T2 : Basal, at 20, 30, 40, 50 DAS (soil application), T3 : Basal, at 20, 30, 40, 50 DAS (Fertigation at 0.8 ADFPE) and nitrogen levels (N1 : 50 per cent RDN, N2 : 75 per cent RDN, N3 : 100 percent RDN and N4 : 125 per cent RDN). For securing the higher green cobs yield, the rabi sweet corn variety “Sugar-75” should be fertigated with 0.8 ADFPE along with 75 % RDN (90 kg ha-1) and time of application at basal, 20, 30, 40 and 50 DAS (saving 25 % nitrogen fertilizer) with (` 155893 ha-1) and CBR (1:4.40).
