ABSTRACT
A field experiment on role of phosphorus and zinc in enhancing growth, yield and quality of fennel crop (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.) in irrigated conditions of North West Rajasthan was conducted at Agronomy farm, College of Agriculture, Bikaner during two consecutive years of 2006-07 and 2007-08. The results indicated that application of phosphorus at 60 kg ha-1 significantly improved the dry weight at 45, 75, 105 DAS and harvest, plant height, branches per plant, chlorophyll content at 105 DAS, umbels per plant, seeds per umbel, seed yield, stover yield, biological yield, harvest index, Significantly higher seed yield net returns and B:C ratio was recorded with 60 kg P2O5 ha-1.
