ABSTRACT
This species produced flowers on terminal cymose inflorescence in bunches of two to six and singly as well at the leaf axil during February-March. Showing more percentage of hermaphrodite flowers as compared to staminate flowers (sex ratio of 1:0.11). The time required for flower bud development to reach the anthesis was 28.10 days. The flowering period lasted for 16 days between last week of February and second week of March. The period of anthesis varied from 6 AM to 4 PM with the peak period (34.39%) having reached between 10 AM to 12 Noon. The highest number of anthers (40.22%) dehisced between 10 AM to 12 Noon.
