ABSTRACT
The present experiment was conducted at Field Experimentation Centre, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences, Allahabad during kharif-2016 in Randomized Block Design with three replications. The present investigation was conducted to evaluate 40 greengram genotypes along with one check SAMRAT for genetic diversity. Forty genotypes were grouped into seven clusters by Tocher method. Maximum inter-cluster distance was observed between cluster 1 and cluster 7. The maximum intra-cluster distance was observed in cluster 5 and cluster 7 showed maximum cluster mean value for seed yield per plant. Among all the characters, biological yield/plant, seed yield/plant and seeds/pod contributes maximum significant genetic variability.
