ABSTRACT
Pulse crops are the most versatile legumes with diversified uses as food, fodder, vegetable and green manuring crop. The hypocotyl explant of Konkan Sadabahar with 3.0 mg/l 2,4-D concentration and embryo explant of PCP-9757 with 2.0 mg/l 2,4-D concentration showed higher response for callus induction in MS medium. The maximum (9.00) shoots were regenerated in 5.0 mg/l BAP concentration by genotype BDN-1 using hypocotyl explant where as In MS medium the hypocotyl explant of BDN-1 and embryo explant of Konkan Safed and PCP-9719 regenerated maximum roots with 1.0 mg/l IBA.
