ABSTRACT
An investigation on sustainable management of micronutrients on okra was carried out during monsoon 2012 at S.D. Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinar. Treatments were comprised of ZnSO4and FeSO4 (20kg/ha each) which were applied without chelation or inorganic chelated form or organically chelated form. For organic chelation three organic manures were used viz., castor cake, vermicompost and poultry manure. Results revealed that significantly maximum plant height at 90 DAS, stem thickness at 90 DAS, leaf area per plant at 60 DAS, economic crop duration, number of fingers harvested per plant, total number of pickings, yield per plant, yield (q/ha) and protein content were observed under20 kg/ha ZnSO4+20 kg/ha FeSO4 enriched with 400 kg/ha castor cake treatment.
