ABSTRACT
Present investigation was carried out to standardize integrated nutrient management for sustainable sweet orange production (Citrus sinensis L Osbeck) cv. Sathgudi budded on Rangpur lime rootstock (Citrus limonia). The orchard experiment was conducted at Citrus Research Station (CRS), AICRP on Fruits (Citrus), Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh from 2006-14. Application of 75% RDF (recommended dose of fertilizers) along with AM at 500g/plant + PSB at 100g/tree + Azospirillum at 100g/tree and T. harzianum at 100g/tree produced maximum fruit yield (28t/ha) and maintained soil fertility and leaf nutritional status. Besides yield, integrated use of fertilizers, manures and bio fertilizers increased TSS, fruit juice content and shelf life (20.25 days) as compared to recommended dose of fertilizers alone (1500:350:400g N, P2O5 & K2O /plant/year). Combined application of 75% RDF along with biofertilizers recorded highest cost benefit ratio (2.25) and reduction in dry root rot incidence. Adoption of this practice saved 25% inorganic fertilizers and protect environment from pollution.
