ABSTRACT
A field experiment was conducted on Inceptisols of College Farm, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat (India) during rabi 2004-2005 to study the effect of Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) in rabi castor (GCH-4) grown on of Vertic Ustrochrepts of South Gujarat. The quality character of castor viz., oil content, acid value, iodine value, saponification value reported non-significant effect due to levels of inorganic fertilizer, source of organic manures and their interaction, however, oil and seed yield were significantly higher with higher due to application of 100 per cent RDF as well as bio-compost @ 5 t/ha (M2) and their interaction over control.
Key words :
Castor, fertilizers, INM, oil yield, organic manure, quality.
