ABSTRACT
An investigation was carried out on management of citrus canker caused by Xanthomonas citri subsp citri by using different bactericides/ fungicides on four months old Kagzi lime seedlings under nursery condition. The bactericides/fungicides which were found effective under in-vitro condition were selected and eight treatments with different combinations were set for the experiment. Among the different treatments 2-Bromo – 2 nitropropane-1, 3-diol @ 500 ppm + copper hydroxide @ 0.25% concentration were found to be effective by controlling per cent leaves infection (84.23%), number of shoots infected (75.37%) and per cent leaf area infection (84.62%) and the treatment was also found on par with streptocycline + copper hydroxide.
