ABSTRACT
The present investigation was undertaken at Agronomy Instructional Farm, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar during rabi seasons of 2012-13 and 2013-14. The experiment was laid out in Split-plot design with sixteen treatments and four replications. The treatments were different levels of irrigation and different bio-regulators. The two years pooled data revealed that the irrigation schedules and bio-regulators did not significantly influence the plant height, dry matter accumulation and leaf area index at 30 DAS on pooled basis. At 60, 90 DAS and at harvest, Irrigation schedule I2 significantly influence the plant height, dry matter accumulation, Crop growth rate, Relative growth rate, Net assimilation rate and Number of branches per plant and leaf area index. It was also found that maximum plant height, dry matter accumulation, crop growth rate, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, number of branches per plant and leaf area index at 60, 90 DAS and at harvest were recorded with treatment C1 (Benzyladenine 45 ppm), which was significantly superior over C0 (Control) and C3 (KCl 1000 ppm) during both the years of study.
Key words :
